Annie grew up in Upstate New York and spent many years living in New York City, where she first discovered mosaic art. While working a project management job in tech, she was looking for a creative outlet and happened upon a mosaic studio. She started learning the craft and quickly fell in love. What began as a hobby slowly turned into taking on a few commissioned pieces, and eventually grew into her working full-time as a mosaic artist.

These days, Annie lives in Upstate New York with her Irish musician husband and her sweet wheaten terrier, while her twins are off at university. What she loves most about making mosaics is how meditative the process is. Each piece is hand-cut and placed one by one, and little by little it all comes together into something beautiful. Her work isn’t perfectly uniform or exact—it’s more fluid and organic, often inspired by color, flowers, and botanical scenes.
